Sign Here’s recent commission by Leicester-based company OpSec Security included such a requirement.
OpSec Security are based in a modern office facility situated at a business park. As such there window graphic requirements differ greatly from those of a high street or shopping centre-based retail outlet. For this job there were two specific requirements: firstly, apply the company brand, in the form of a logo, to the main entrance of their building, along with additional company information; and secondly, apply a series of smaller logos as a pattern to interior glass panes, which are used on glazing for individual office rooms to ensure the glass is visible. This latter requirement is essential for health and safety considerations.
As with all of the signage products we create, an initial inspection is made of the business premises where the signs will be employed. In consultation with the customer, Sign Here’s technicians suggest the type of signage that best suits the appropriate need, including a brief explanation of the process involved. Once this has been agreed, including costs, our designers go about producing technical layouts of the designs using SignLab software. This includes accurate sizing and colour matching. Our full colour graphics printers can accommodate any flat of multi-tonal colour choices. Once complete, these plans are sent for client approval, and once received, the production process can begin.
The design is transfered to our vinyl plotter and printed as high quality Avery vinyl graphics. At the same time a fine perforation is created, allowing for easy seperation of the vinyl from the backing. The graphics are then cut by hand into their constituent parts and prepped for application.
At the final destination for application previously determined positions and measurements are followed by our sign making technicians. Each and every sign we create has a pre-conceived end position to be adhered to, no matter how small. Once the correct location is found appropriate signage is positioned, followed by the removal of the vinyl backing. The result is a smooth, cleanly installed signage solution.
